AUTOart will release Mercedes Benz AMG GT-S in Four Colors

AMG GT-S is one of the fast exotic cars from the high performance tuning division of Mercedes Benz. We diecast collectors love exotic sports cars and AMG stuff takes high priority thanks to its impressive exterior and sleek interiors details. And this reaches even higher level when you know if a premium diecast model maker like AUTOart is making this legendary machine. Yes AUTOart is making 1:18 scale variant of this Mercedes Benz AMG GT-S… Yes its a composite model like the Mercedes Benz AMG GT3 car reported earlier but the twist is that it comes with working doors, fully functional hood and trunk. Because it has a functioning hood, it also reveals an awesome engine details that meets all the standards set by AUTOart quality control.

  • This beautiful composite scale model will be available in four color variant namely “Designo Diamond White Bright”, “Matt Grey”, “Black” and this “AMG Solarbeam/Yellowish Orange”.

The Solarbean seems to be the hot selling color and my personal favorite. The hand made pre-production variant showed off in AUTOart Germany site is also solarbeam, which excites me more. AUTOart did not revealed any release dates as of now but we except it to hit our showrooms by early 2017. Price should be on par with other composite AUTOart models like the Alfa Romeo 4C so should see a price point of around 100-150USD, which is awesome taking into consideration the brand and the details it comes with. We will keep an eye on this model and keep you posted on any developments. Ciao!

  1. The production model of this yellow as well as the black and silver variants do not feature completely black rims as pictured here, which I may have preferred. However, the silver lining which is present is in tune with other silver linings like on the exhaust, so this is probably just a minor observation.
