Now is the time to rejoice if you are a hardcore Diecast collector and that “Land Rover Defender 90” is missing in your collection, as Kyosho recently announced a 1:18 diecast model of the Land Rover Defender 90 in two famous colors – Indus Silver and Aintree Green. Though this is not the first time this model hits the market (Universal Hobbies did this model and its sold out) but it is the first time a premium brand like Kyosho is launching such a legendary model! The Universal Hobbies made Land Rover Defender 90 is still floating around in EBAY but being a mega rare model it easily fetches almost over $300 on a good day.
- This Land Rover Defender 90 sports some exceptional details like the exposed under details, engine bay is cluttered with all those wires and harness etc. And one other detail that is worth mentioning is the details that the Aintree Green model gets i.e. nothing but the black roof as opposed to the all body color roof in the Indus Silver model. One other detail that’s captured in this Kyosho is the inclusion of a sunroof which is solely missed in Universal Hobbies Land Rover Defender 90.
There are few sites already started accepting pre-orders for this beauty at a price point of around $155.00 and a speculative delivery time as Q3-Q4 2014…. Also there are some impressive prototype pics of this mode published by few sellers as well adds fuel to the flame… so hurry up and pre-order yours before its too late!!
