Lamborghini Aventador – Bburago

The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is a sports car unveiled by Lamborghini at the Geneva Motor Show 2011, the Aventador was designed to replace the ten-year-old Murciélago as the new flagship model in the Lamborghini line-up starting in 2011. Costing around $379,700 in the U.S. only 4000 are planned to be produced. Lamborghini says that the Aventador is two generations ahead of anything else on sale, using Formula One-style suspension and a lightweight carbon fibre monocoque. Stylistically, the Aventador represents an evolution of its predecessor, the Murciélago. The car’s shape also borrows heavily from Lamborghini’s limited-edition Reventón and their Estoque concept car.

Bburago was the first and the only budget diecast scale model maker to make this gorgeous Lamborghini. Though there are some more premium manufacturers like MR collections are also available but this has a acceptable levels of details to sit high in you display case.

This model is very well detailed in terms of dimension, stance and proportion. This model is available in Orange and Black at the moment and the white would be a best addition, I personally like the Orange as it commands real good attention over other in this scale! The lines and curves are smooth but the excess gap kind of play adverse but for Rs. 1500+ what more could you expect.

The front is sharp and the head lamps are nice and detailed (even the led effects is nicely replicated). To me the front kind of resembles the Reventon!! The rear is the most striking of this car, the guys in Bburago deserve a pat for delivering such a detailed (even the parking camera is not missed) rear end that too on a budget.

The scissor doors opens like the other Lamborghinis but in here a little angled outwards, which adds a little newish feel to the overall package. The doors look awesome from front and the rear, from the stance point it looks similar to the other. The door hinge mechanism also get a thumbs up for the smooth flawless operation.

The interiors are done in a conventional Bburago pattern (i.e. in multi color plastic) and they are really good. The Lamborghini logos and the aluminum finished steering are greatly detailed. The instruments and the dials are fantastic so as the chrome garnished pedals.

The seats look a little plasticky but has no complaints! The seat texture is nice and works the magic of replicating leather very well. The center console is an other piece where dedication of the crafts man shows up. Though the interiors are cool there are some missouts!!! The air con vents have a slightly pattern (right one look blank and dont match the left), no hand brakes etc.

The engine details are on par with the other Lambos from Bburago like the Reventon and so. But here the engine bay get a little more detailing. As far as the rating goes this Aventator model gets a nominal 4/5 for its details and the value for money proposition.

As always I had some fun photographing this beauty/beast (both indoor and outdoors) so here are some random pics from my camera, I hope you will enjoy.

    1. Hey Ben, i received mine last week.i choose the grey china edition …as first impression “Job well done by Autoart”.

  2. This baby kick started my die-cast collection yesterday. Couldn’t have found a better car to make the start, right?
Though my model did came with few scratches. The wheel alignment is screwed up – the rear wheels are pointed inwards and the fronts by-default turn right, doesn’t go in straight line. Not that I’m going to play with it but yes, that detail does bother me a bit.
Also, when I move the steering, the whole dashboard moves, do you also have the same problem?

I’ve seen the White & Yellow models and I’m just desperate to add those two to my collection. Unfortunately none of the Indian shops or websites have them. And if I buy it online the shipping would kill me. Let’s hope one of the Indian website stock the White & Yellow models soon.

    1. Good to hear that you started with a Lambo… I started with a 1:18 Lamborghini Murcielago by Maisto…

My Aventator did not have any of the issues that you mentioned!! Maybe its only a defect on your model! Google for fixes..
