Lamborghini Huracan in 1:18 scale by April – Bburago

Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4 the newest and most sexiest baby Lambo makes its debut in the 2014 Geneva Auto Show last week… This Italian company really doesn’t make that many new cars so when a new one arrives it’s time to sharpen your eyes and pay attention… especially if it is replacing the sales leader and most produced car, the Gallardo! The name “Huracan” comes from a fighting bull who lived in 1879 and was undefeated in battle. Designer Filippo Perini was responsible for this baby’s edgy styling… This baby is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine, good for 610 horsepower and a 0 to 100 kmh in just 3.2 seconds, weighing just under 1,422kg it can reach a top speed of 325 kmh. I even like the official video that team Lamborghini had posted in YouTube…

Though Lamborghini unveiled Huracán LP610-4 last week and over 1000 bookings already in for it, we diecast collector are lucky because we got our glimpse of this model in 1:18 and 1:43 scales in this year Nuremberg Toy Fair. Expected to hit the showrooms by March in four shades which includes metallic green(images below), Bianco Monocerus(White), Giallo Midas(Yellow) and Grigio Nimbus(Silver)… But in 1:18 scale we can expect green and the silver because the prototype seems so perfect and almost production ready.

The sample displayed in Nuremberg Toy Fair was a hand made sample.. but its details are sharp and the paint finish is top notch!! Even the interiors are done to perfection! The only bit I don’t like about this model is its wheels, which sort of don’t match with the production version… Or it could be me who feels so..

I tried most of my usual online diecast store and disappointed that nobody is accepting and pre-order, so no prices this time… But going via the grapewine in the market and forums the prices are expected to be around €40! The price might seem a little steep but initially the demand is going to be so high and this price is justifiable to meet demand.
