Newray 1:60 Sikorsky HH 60J Jayhawk – Unboxed

Newray makes some really cool diecast bikes… And I was privileged to own some of their best! As you might know by now that I a also in models of helicopters and airplanes as well… I wanted the best and the F16 made by BBI and BBI Elite Force MH-60 Night Raid Black Hawk Helicopter takes the top places. I recently acquired a 1:18 MI-24 Hind Armored Gunship by Elite Force but the quality is not so bad but livable. This 1:60 Sikorsky HH 60J Jayhawk was my ice-breaker after my business trip and she is stunning in my display case!

  • This stunning beauty is one of my favorites… thanks to the red and white color scheme. I wanted a 1:18 version of this HH 60J Jayhawk but unfortunately no one makes it! So this diecast 1:60 HH 60J Jayhawk is my best bet that wont take up my lifetime saving!

Lets get back to our unboxing part… The box is sort of unusual because the model is secured on to the inner lining via wire tigh! That’s weird because this almost makes it impossible to repack and the package is just trash! I especially like the package and the coloring choice that they used for this particular. The blue sky pattern background just makes this red and white bird pop out! The model is fully build and comes with a desk stand that gives you an option display it in the flying stance.

Out of the box this beauty is top notch! The weight is good, the four roto blades snaps nicely into in place and door slide open nicely. I feel that the display base that was provided is not up to the mark and kind of feels flimsy!! I am loving the scale 1:60 already for diecast helicopters as they are good to look at, packs in alot of details and sure will fit inside my display case.

I would love to hang this pretty Sikorsky from my roof but it is kind of too small so will have to find some creative ways to display this guy inside my display. Because this is the first helicopter model that I have unboxed there will be challenges in my photography session to your help in this department would be greatly appreciated. Hold on your horses and wait for the full review. Ciao.
