I love Jeeps and that too from late 70s because they look pretty much like Mahindra(Indian SUV brand) MM540, which I loved as kid! I been looking for a 1:18 Jeep CJ-7 with some decent details since day one… Finally Greenlight Collectibles heard my cry and released a array of Jeep in 1:18 scale and the latest is this “1979 Jeep CJ-7 Golden Eagle Dixie” and I was blow by the details it came packed! Let us share you, all the details about this upcoming Jeep CJ-7 wearing Golden Eagle badge.
Actually this Jeep CJ-7 was announced around November 2019 with expected date of launch of February 2020… but that dint happen. Now we finally got some new release date along also package photographs showing the actual production images, which gives us a hint that actual release is around the corner. Being an Artisan series release the package is fully covered and the package details are too good.
This Jeep CJ7 Golden Eagle is relatively cool and the decal and paint job makes it even cooler. What I like about this the most is its stance, which is captured by Greenlight’s designers. If you observe carefully, the front suspension finished in chrome is visible in the pre-production sample pic.
This CJ7 Golden Eagle gets a removable soft top and it looks super cool without top. The rear-end also opens up to reveal spare wheels other side. In its open state, the beige upholstery with clean details stands out. The only issue is that the doors go off with the softop so they look a bit weird!
Finally coming back the point, this Jeep is now available in store and they are already rocking few collectors display. This Jeep CJ7 Golden Eagle Dixie is showing up in fewer online store at a price range of USD.75 to 85 and the stock is running out pretty fast! As of now cootersplace.com has this in stock. I am actually excited for this Jeep and looking at all the options to add this into my collection. We will bring in more diecast news, till next time… Ciao.
