Lamborghini is a iconic car brand both for driving enthusiast and also scale model collectors. Yeah even toy collectors love it and diecast scale model makers like Maisto, Bburago, Motormaxx, Welly, AUTOart and GT Spirit are feeding us collectors with a steady diet of Lamborghinis to keep us engaged. Maisto(and his sister Bburago) is one such brand, who is providing us with value for money diecast Lamborghini in 1:18 scale. I love their line up especially the recently days like the Lamborghini V12 Vision Gran Turismo.
Last year they gave us not one but two new Lamborghinis(Lamborghini V12 Vision Gran Turismo and Lamborghini Sian FKP 37) so I was super excited to see what they have planned for this year. To my surprise the 2022 catalog’s did have few new cars, which also includes a brand new Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 and that to in Special Edition packaging, so I don’t have to pay more for that Signature Exclusive packaging!
This Lamborghini comes only in white so we could expect the model also in the same shade. The interiors should be in red with some fancy engraving we believe. As with most other 1:18 diecast scale model by Maisto, this also should get opening scissor doors but we are not very sure on the engine cover and front luggage compartment etc.
There are few online diecast model vendors who already started accepting pre-orders for this Italian bull in 1:18 scale and price is hovering around USD.35. As of now there is no clear cut release date but sources suggest that the release would in the last quarter of this year. This I would want as my Christmas gift but I am good if it makes it earlier.
