The 2013 Harley-Davidson FLHTK Electra Glide Ultra Limited is a modern cruiser designed for riders who wants a perfect blend of comfort, style and performance. This Harley-Davidson comes with a comprehensive list of standard features which includes anti-lock brakes, electronic cruise control, Smart Security System, unique two-tone paint schemes, premium Tour-Pak luggage rack, premium, plush removable luggage liners and heated hand grips. It is powered by a 1690CC air-cooled twin cam 103 engine with integrated oil-cooler valves pushrod-operated overhead valves with hydraulic self-adjusting lifters and two valves per cylinder. This is my second Harley-Davidson and the first one being the 2013 FLHRC Road King Classic by Maisto again, though they both came down on a same day… I kind of like this bike for its feature that it tries to show off… It comes in a slightly bigger box and the bike is fasten to the box by a single screw. Porting this Harley around is tricky as it has a lot of small parts and really delicate so handle with care.
Harleys usually are big cruiser bikes and Electra Glide Ultra Limited is a flagship model for the road dweller who wants the very best… This model puts a big picture if pegged right next to anything that has got two wheels in 1:12 scale. That doesn’t mean this model has scaling error! Just like the real deal the most striking feature of this scale model is the big wide windshield and its road rattling profile.

I would say the Maisto team had done a wonderful job in capturing the details like the instrument console, the seat mounted speakers, and the chrome work. The top honors goes to fairing mounted dials that are so sharp and accurate as is in the real bike. The one other reason why I took this diecast scale bike is the details like all six speakers and the tour package set, which includes two side mounded saddle bags and rear mounted box with an extra chrome rail.
- The chrome works in this diecast scale model is good, but I kind of like the finish that the Road King Classic as you can check from the pics the chrome work in this model is sort of patchy and the reflectiveness is not as good as the other. The engine case, transfer box and the intercooler are all finished chrome and the 103 engraving in the box look bold and adds a lot of attitude. The detailing of this Harley model goes one step higher as the foot pedal for rear brake’s engraving of the HD logo. Also the long flowing exhaust pipes adds that sense of length and also rear optics are details and even the rear reflector has a kind of texture to it.
So like with the other model had a blast with this model and the varing sunlight posed a challenge. I ended up taking somewhere around 80 shots to finalise this set, so I believe you also had good time reading through this article. The verdict for this model quality is 4/5.. the valuable point here is lost for the dodgy chrome work, which in my opinion is a deal breaker as this Harley is chrome heavy and big.
Great pictures, you really do a good job on these reviews.
Looks like Maisto did a decent job on this replica. I’m not crazy about the color combination they chose, but for the price this one looks like a decent collection addition.
Thx buddy. I also feel the same in terms of color but it a very worthy addition so I wrote the cheque for this model!
