Motorhelix is All Set to Launch Nissan GT-R (R35) 2020 in 1:18 scale

Motorhelix is a fairly new name that I was introduced to recently, their 2022 Cadillac Escalade got my attention when they released some moulding samples on their Facebook page the final end product blew us out like anything. Their newest scale model of Nissan GT-R (R35) 2020 will sure repeat that success. Yeah we already quite a few Nissan Godzillas in 1:18 scale but this seems like a special one as it is made by Motorhelix.

Motorhelix had shared some moulding samples on their Facebook page and I am literally jumping! Yeah they are that good even though the details are a bit sketchy. I take the Escalade as the yardstick so I know what is coming from brilliant scale model maker like Motorhelix.

Many scale model of Nissan GT-R are in our market diecast, resins and even composite… which makes this GT-R from Motorhelix a late entry! But this Motorhelix’s GT-R may pretty well become a benchmark of premium scale model! It is not always the first is the best, some times its the late entry that gets things done.

Motorhelix Nissan GT-R R35 2020 - Engine Bay

Unlike most other premium scale models, this Nissan GT-R (R35) 2020 gets an opening(or maybe pop open) hood and that reveals a gorgeous engine underneath! I am in love with this engine bay even in this moulding model, the plumbing work, engine cover and even radiator caps all playing a symphony here.

I love this dialogue from the movie MI Ghost Protocol “wait till see my car”… now I have to quote that with a twist “wait till you see the underbody”! Yeah if the engine gets you to wistle, the underbody gets you to the jump. I have never see this level of details in any scale model to date, just she check the rear shocks and connectors that’s enough to agree with me.

Finally the colour in which this beast would hit stores? As per Motorhelix official website, this Nissan GT-R R35 would be released in black and gold combination, which is pretty cool combination but red and black would bring out those details even better. So What’s your preference… comment below. Release date is yet to be unveiled as well so you have to wait a bit longer to see this that hot black shade.

Motorhelix produces scale models in limited numbers to keep that novelty factor in tact.. this Nissan GT-R also take the same route and will be limited to 99 pieces world-wide. As per pricing, we don’t have any price point as its in its early stages but we expect the price to be on par($300 mark) with other similar models. We will keep you posted on any progress on this GT-R and other exciting model news from around the world, so stay tuned. Till next time… Ciao.
