OttoMobile is on the roll this new year and their new scale model lineup announcement comes every Thursday on their Facebook page and this week’s announcement got me excited. Yeah it is the pocket rocket Mini John Cooper Works GP in 1:18 Scale and its one of my favourite car in real life and also in scale model world. OttOmobile share some sample pics with the announcement and we are happy to share them with you collectors.
The shared pics are quite detailed and they look production ready so they would be coming your way pretty soon… pretty fast. These photos do show in great details the optics inside the headlamps smooth bonnet with a vent on. I also like the GP monogram on the sealed grills (mesh grill would have been great but this is a budget model so that would be too much) and the darkened logo also looks cool.
This model is loaded with so many features that would make this a stylish piece in your track car display. The red accents on it’s dark grey body looks cool and the light aluminium finish further enhances the sporty pedigree. That massive air duct in the front finished in red steals the show if posed looking at you. The bonnet also has a couple of aluminium clamps, which OttO guys dint leave it unpainted… Bravo guys.
That massive spoiler is the most distinctive feature of this particular Mini and the attention to details that OttO crafters paid extra care when doing that. I am still thinking is this shot (shared by OttOmobile), is it that of the scale model or the real car. The GP decals on the spoiler looks so good. This Mini John Cooper Works GP looks cool even for these sample photos that we see in their Facebook page.
I have to say this Mini John Cooper Works GP is a must have if you like Mini Coopers. This for sure look a bit weird in comparison to other mini even. This Mini John Cooper Works GP will hits showroom by this April and the pre-orders will open in few weeks. OttOmobile has priced it at €69.90, which is a good value. I am seriously think of getting one for my personal collection, what you think? Till next time… Ciao.
