Tesla gets us some futuristic electric car and their newest Cybertruck is creating buzz again in the real car space!! And we scale model collector has got something as well in 1:18 scale and it is sold-out already!! Yeah its 1:18 scale Cybertruck from Tesla itself, which gets us more excited to get one as this scale model is created using the original CAD designs that are used for creating the original Cybertruck.
This Cybertruck showed up in Tesla’s online store and within few days its gone but not gone for ever as the they would be putting more stock pretty soon. I loved looking at the product photos that Tesla has put in their store as they look more like a real car than a scale model. It is made using 180+ part, which is impressive for a very angular truck.
This scale model Cybertruck gets all four doors that opens so as the tailgate with magnetic locking mechanism. The rear loading bay cover AKA Tonneau is also removable, which gives us collectors endless display possibility! This gets a very cool panaromic glass roof, which shows some of the interior even with the truck fully closed.
The interior is also very accurate (as per the photos shared by Tesla) with the steering, paddles and seats with cool black leather like texture. It also has a big centre display with map of Cybertruck’s home base displayed on the touchacreen, which in my opinion is a nice little Easter egg. On closer look at the photo, we could also see that centre console with great details and carpet as well. We also like door hinge that is not that intrusive!
This Cybertruck weighs over 1.5kg, which is not very light nor heavy as an Exoto Hummer H1 scale model. It was priced at $225/- before it went out of stock but they will soon be restocked mostly for the same price we believe! And the trend of scalping this Tesla may continue, so keep up with the restock status and buy it when you get an opportunity.
