Kyosho unveils 1:18 scale Audi R8 Spyder FSI 5.2 quattro in Red – News

Kyosho when it released the Audi R8 Coupe the whole diecast world went crazy not just because of its legendary root but also the fit and finish they managed to get. The red enthusiast like me were trilled when we saw the same thing in red, then came the V10 version which hipped the game a little further. And finally the Spyder created enough ripples to create a tsunami in the roadsters collector brain but I was not so trilled because I was expecting the Reds to come out first. Finally!!! Yesterday they break the news to general public as the Red model will be launched by first quarter of 2011. So many sites have started taking preorders as they are going to be produced only in limited numbers (as per their official blog its only “1002” worldwide) so I made my preorder too and keeping my fingers crossed. Here are few shots of the expected diecast model.

Along with the Red another new color “Daytona Grey” has also been announced! The nicer thing about this color as per the pics provided is the gray alloys which is not available in any other models except the DTM Safety car.

  1. The Daytona Grey’s Alloy looks like V8’s but the badging in the last confirms it is a V10 version… Lets see how the final outcome is!?
