This Smoke-S Type-C figurine is part of “Black List Crossroad Collection Vol-2” that Organic released few years back. The collection consist of “Kouzou Suzumoto”, “Jerry”, “Smoke-S Type-C”, “Ryou Azuma”, “Ichii” and “one secret item” but I only got four being a unboxed item brought of eBay. I have already review “Kouzou Suzumoto” with Welly Lamborghini Gallardo and “Ichii” posing with Bburago Lamborghini Huracan. So now time has come to do a review of this third figurine from the Black List Crossroad Collection Vol-2 box. Come lets analyze and give a verdict for this “Smoke-S Type-C” figurine.
Scale: Unlike diecast scale models the small size figurines don’t come in proper scale (atleast these 1:18 don’t come in perfect scale that I know for sure) but they are the perfect size to go with out famous 1:18 scale for cars! So I have a lot in my collection, these characters are also fictious so the scale cannot be matched! This Smoke-S Type-C character is a macho kind of character so I gave him a 1:18 Maisto Hummer H2 SUT diecast SUv and he just fit perfectly getting him a perfect score. Size is match in terms of height and also mass! A black hummer would have made this picture perfect.
Texture & Material: This figurine boosts a macho looks by sporting leather buttoned shirt, leather trousers and a glove. The look is further enhanced by a full sleeve polo shirt in pale gray. The texture are all done nice though they kind of look plastic but different texture finish gives it that leather feel. So this figurine gets full marks here as well.
Posture: This Smoke-S Type-C figurine’s aggressive looks is due to a slightly crunched posture. But this posture is achieved by slightly bending the body forward around the hip area. This posture issue is not that visible if placed right up but if placed sidewise then this becomes obvious and also becomes awkward too! So the posture is the first parameter that brings down the score! The figurine comes with a black base and it is really necessary because of the posture problem!
Fine Details: As far as the details concerns this figurine comes with two major fine details… the mask and his sports shoes! The Mask looks very sharp and sort of sticks out giving it real mask like appearance! This sticking out effect becomes really obvious if viewed from sides.
The sports shoes this figurine sports is yet an other detail thats worth mentioning… the shoe has some very sleek details like the lace, multi color upper portion but whats really nice of all is the sole of the shoe! The sole’s details is lost in most figurines but here it is sleek.
This Black List Crossroad Collection Figure – Smoke-S Type-C figurine is a nice one to add to your collection! I like this figurine because it just complements my 1:18 diecast collection (check it out here) I do have hell a lot of figurines, which are usually called as 10inch figurines (technically fits 1:18 scale cars/bikes). The collection is only getting bigger as we speak… So as the display shelves!! The problem is that the figurine industry is not that scale oriented as my favorite diecast scale model industry! So I have trial and error and I have say this is a pass! Yeah I was so happy with how it turned out! And the rating says it all! Yeah 4.5 sounds good!
