New year is here and every scale model maker is announcing news model right, left and center… Solido recently unveiled its 2022 catalog in their Facebook page and the cover has this beautiful 1966 Aston Martin DB5 in 1:18 scale and got us(me especially) excited to the core. I always wanted the James Bond movie car but never got a value for money model as both AUTOart and Auto World dint cut it for me. As Solido dint release any official images as yet, so dropped some of the real car photos for you to drool.
This Solido 1966 Aston Martin DB5 should grace many Aston Martin model lovers collection as this fits in many collectors budget including me! Solido recently uped their game in recent times and should see many collectors getting into this brand without burning a big hole in your wallet or breaking the bank.
This Aston Martin DB5 don’t have any Bond car like features but has the exact same body as it came off the factory, which itself takes spot light attention in any diecast display. As Solido din’t release much info this Aston Martin, we have to speculate on details, color (mostly silver birch), features and even pricing. But its too early expect these infos but as days passes by we will get more updates and clears the air.
This Aston Martin DB5 should reach stores by first quarter 2022 and pre-orders opened from CarModel.com at €49.95 but we will see more options to order. The 2022 catalog also has some beauties like the Lada Niva (also in Vagabond), 1993 Toyota Supra MK4, Subaru Impreza 22B, RWB 964, Shelby Cobra 427 and more competition to be picked this year.
