Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse is an awesome hypercar even as a 1:18 diecast scale model. I been looking for this guy for long long time and recently got it from Amazon India at a very sweet price! Because we are going through some series virus situation I let it cool down (home quarantine for 21day and more) for some time and finally decided to unbox this beauty and give his freedom!
I picked this Bugatti at a juicy discount and paid only INR.2,859/-, which is crazy because even a Bburago/Maisto cost more than that here in India. The box came in a regular Amazon medium box and it made it home in good shape! The box had a dent in a corner but nothing beyond that!
The box and package material feels like the AUTOart Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport signature series so as the protection it provided to this very fragile Bugatti Vitesse. What I like about Rastar is that they went a bit higher and added some soft butter paper to avoid scratches.
When this Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse is set free he comes alive, both in positive and negative way! Yeah he is a budget model but he is a beauty on her own! But this beauty has her own flaw like the paint finish etc.
This Bugatti only came with a single piece of add-on and it a booklet with some writeup of pictures, I would have expected it to be in color but a grayscale print still works! And the details on it are really helpful to understand this Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse better.
The first thing that I felt about this Bugatti is that it is light very light so I took him up and put him my trusty digital scale. This guy only tipped the scale at 606gms, which is super light for a 1:18 scale car! Let me put the Bburago Chiron in the same scale when I do my full review to make sure.
This Bugatti Veyron in roadster body style is looker and that bright orange accent is making her even cooler! But the problem is every orange panel is kind of different so sometime it may show up under my macro lens! The most obvious orange mismatch is the grill and the front panel!
Even though I like this Bugatti so much my brain is jumping like a rubber ball in a closed room, so a full review maybe coming sooner than later where I will put all my theory to test under a Macro lens and natural brain! So stay tuned for all those and more… till then, Ciao!
