I love Kawasaki Motorcycles for its brute power, sexy styling and nibble handling! I personally have a Kawasaki Ninja 250, which makes my everyday office commute a hyper ride. The new Ninja H2R is crazly fast and the rumble from its exhaust just raises your adrenaline in a snap. So I wanted this one in my collection, finally after a long wait I opened my diecast garage to this 1:12 beauty by Maisto.
I got this 1:12 Kawasaki Ninja H2R from Hamleys, Bangalore few weeks back. The box is identical to all other that came in last year… the yellow and white box graphics is very subtle. This windowed box come with window on front and back giving you full access to its details even without taking it out.
The bike not that heavy but the box weighs 213grams, which is commendable and feels solid. Though NewRay box are heavier due to its packaging style. Maisto’s 1:12 motorcycle boxes are my my favorite because you take the model easily and also repackage it with the same ease.
The plastic casing that encases this Kawasaki H2R is firm and does its duty very well. There is literally any movement inside the casing, thanks to the casing shape and the material. The pieces fit in perfectly even after multiple access, which I love.
The real beauty of this Kawasaki Ninja H2R come alive when it come out… Yes the carbon finish and the decals starts to dazzle when light hits it directly. The mat finish black also come alive, the eye like air intake also looks better. The green highlighting effect by the pinstripe makes it cooler than most Kawasaki in the market.
The side view shows not much of details nor does show any of its unique performance pieces. But the front head on view show them all in one shot. The aero fins looks so obvious and remains me of the boxer engine that BMW are packed with. The rear view mirror also adds a bit of aerodynamics to the bike and deflects wind upwards!
I have many Kawasaki in 1:12 scale and most of them are in green, this H2R bring in something uniqueness to the table! Just see it right next to a Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R, which is also made by Maisto. The scale looks ok, details looks cool and this hyper bike looks super mean in carbonfiber finish.
This Kawasaki Ninja H2R is one cool ride and Maisto did an awesome job. Though I did not go through all the details but this Ninja looks really cool and is worth INR.750. I am planning to some review soon.. sooner than what you expected. I am coming up with some ideas for the review and that’s going to be really awesome. Till next time.. Ciao.
