New Year is around the corner and I decide to do my year end post a bit earlier than usual. Because this year I din’t pick that many scale cars except for some Hot Wheels and Matchbox and I decided to do it anyways! I just picked two cars in 1:18 scale and they both are super close to my heart. They both came in around my birthday month of September mostly as my birthday haul! I love to pick toys from physical toy stores and because more and more toy store are getting shut in our city due to import restrictions and lack of toy suppliers, I have to settle for far less toys than what I would have added usually.
First up is my long time favourite Bugatti Bolide in 1:18 scale made by Bburago. I picked it off a toy store, which I been scouting for some time and pulled the trigger around first week of September. This was available online forever and Indian store hardly get any, so its a big deal for me! This blue version is a sorted colours and my favourite as well! It has great details all around and wheels just stands out. Of the two 1:18 cars I got this year this Bugatti Bolide is my top pick!
The second car that picked is a Road Signature Collection Ford F150 in 1:18 scale. I first saw this in our local Hamleys along with other classic cars by Road Signature Collection but this stood in my mind because I see a bit of customisation possibility here. I wanted the matt black Ford F150 from the movie “Expendables” so this is the best base for that project and I bagged it after some back and forth! Though my Car collection is not that impressive, my motorcycle collection did much better so wait for it! Hoping that year 2024 will be much better overall! Happy New Year in advance. Ciao
